MARGARET OLYNYK
She was born in Kadina, Australia on April 11, 1921. She moved to England to train as a nurse. She met her husband, John and was married. They came to Canada and settled in Winnipeg. Peggy enjoyed gardening, knitting and swimming. She knitted toques for charity and also taught kids to swim. She was 98 years young.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband John.
She is survived by son John and Marilyn, grandchildren, Shauneen and David, and seven great-grandchildren. She enjoyed many visits by niece Jo-Ann and family.
We appreciate the fine care she received by the staff of Holy Family Home.
There will be no formal service.
Please do not send flowers. If you wish to make a donation in her memory to either Holy Family or The Salvation Army, we would appreciate your kind thoughts.
