"When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die."

It saddens me to see that Florence has passed. It was only last week that I was thinking about her. She was just a dear lady, with lots of smiles, and a heart for Hockey. She always took an interest in my two nephews has they worked on their carries to be a NHL players. If she found an article in the paper about Mark she would have in cut out and waiting for me in the dining room. My condolences go out to her family. My sympathy goes out to Rhonda & Barb for the loss of their mother Florence, who was a very wonderful caring person. I am glad to hear that she continued to have a active life, making even more friends during her time spent in Deer Lodge Centre. Florence always made everybody feel special and welcome, when you were around her. I am sure she will lovenly live on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. - Posted by: Madeliene McCrea (Friend) on: Dec 14, 2019

My deepest condolences regarding my ultimate favourite lady at deer lodge, I did Florences hair at deer lodge every Tuesday and I just loved her. I recently left working at deer lodge lodge after 26 years so I did a lot of “weeklys” on your mom and enjoyed every visit with her! - Posted by: Sandra (Hairdresser/friend) on: Dec 14, 2019
