It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Barbara Lee Karpenko on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the age of 72 years.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Bill; son James and wife Gigi; daughter Brenda and husband Matt; her grandchildren, Michael, Janel, Rhiannon, Gianinna; great- grandchildren, Jadoxx and Cathelina; brothers, Reg (Connie), Rick, Tommy (Val); sister Rita (Roman) and nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her mother Rachel; father John and sister Janet.
Barb was taken from us abruptly and much too soon. Her family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Center, the Surgical Intensive Care Unit for their compassion and kindness and doing everything they could.
Service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of her passing after her funeral as I certainly would have been there to pay my respects.
