JEAN RUTH RUSSELL
(née KUMHYR)
September 9, 1931 - December 1, 2019
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 65 years, Don, her children, Linda, Ron (Linda) and Jim, her brother David Kumhyr and his wife Joan, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her brother Elmer Kumhyr and his wife Jean.
Jean was born in Wallaceburg, ON and raised in Hadashville, MB and then moved to Winnipeg to finish school. She worked for Eaton's for many years, taking time off to raise her three children. After retirement, Jean and Don moved to Vernon, BC to live with their son Ron and his wife Linda.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Vernon Jubilee Hospital and Kelowna General Hospital for their care and compassion.
