ADELINE BRESCH
(nee DOBBERMAN)

It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Adeline, on October 19, 2019 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 87 years. Adeline was released into God's loving arms after battling major health issues the last six months.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Elmer Bresch; son Reg; daughter-in-law Brenda Bresch and her two precious grandchildren, Milaini and Casey Bresch.
Mourning her loss are her sister Adina; nephew Rene Dufaut of BC who kept in close contact; in-laws, Edwin and Esther Bresch and families in SK and all her special nieces and nephews and relatives in Germany. Also missing Adeline are all her close friends, especially long time neighbours, Sandy and Barry Briscoe who have watched over them for many years.
Adeline was born in Guernsey, Saskatchewan on February 26, 1932 to Martha and Joseph Dobberman and grew up on the farm. She married Elmer at 19 in 1951, farming on the Bresch farm near Esk, SK. There she had her one and only child, Reginald in 1952. They eventually moved to Saskatoon then to Winnipeg, doing this twice throughout the early years, residing permanently in Winnipeg in 1969. Mom worked at Eatons downtown for many years in ladies shoes, where she made many lifelong friends. Mom was an equal partner in life with Elmer and they did everything together. Mom was a strong and determined woman and had an opinion on everything that was always positive. She would reach out to all her family and friends near and far, interested in their life travels. Mom was big hearted and generous to all her family, friends and charities. She was a wonderful cook and meticulous homemaker. Adeline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who always showed her love for us in gentle caring ways.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. A graveside interment will be held in the spring of 2020 at Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg.

but never our memory
Gone from our touch,
but never our hearts."
