Helen is survived by her sister-in-law Rose Black; nephews, Jan, Todd (Nadine) Black with children, Bradley and Brittany; niece Tracy (Brian) Donaldson with children, Taylor, Kieran and Brynn; and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry "Funny" Small (2006); her parents, Fred (1978) and Anne (1991) Black; sister Margaret (Ted) Rudnick, and brother Alec Black.
Helen was born January 8, 1931 in Winnipeg. She spent the final part of her working career with Safeway. She was a big sports fan and enjoyed spending loving, quality time with her beloved "Funny".
Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Entombment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Helen's memory to a charity of your choice.
