CATHERINE DOWSE
September 30, 1933 - December 8, 2019

Surrounded by her loving family, Catherine peacefully departed to join loved ones in Heaven.
Catherine was deeply loved by her family and will be dearly remembered by daughters Darlene and Cynthia (David Kraemer); daughter-in-law Terry; grandchildren: Harley, Alexander and Joseph Ashwell (Ashley), Catherine Sigurdson (Keith), Raymond (Cara) and Wesley (Nancy), plus nine great-grandchildren.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband Raymond, son George, and grandson George.
Catherine was born in Chatfield, Manitoba to Herbert and Catherine Tait. She grew up in Charleswood with her siblings: Herbert, Rosemary, Brian, Angela, Gary, Iris, Dorothy and Glen. In 1952 she married Raymond and together they raised their three children.
Catherine's love and passion for life and family was endless. She enjoyed family gatherings, music, art and West Hawk Lake. Her beautiful and joyful spirit will forever live in our hearts. She will be deeply missed and her memory cherished forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on December 19, 2019 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Cres. Program starts at 2:30 p.m.
