It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Anne Mankewich, at her residence, on December 12, 2019, in Teulon, Manitoba.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Barry (Joyce), Donald and Robert; her grandsons, Darryl (Celeste), Curtis and Robbie; and great-granddaughter Emma; also surviving are her sister Anastasia and brother Matt.
A special thank you to Norma Turcotte who assisted Mom until the paramedics arrived and to the EMS personnel who worked to help Mom. Also thank you to the home care staff at Teulon for their assistance with Mom after she returned home from the hospital after her fall, it was greatly appreciated.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Fisher Branch, Manitoba, with interment to follow at the Dallas-Red Rose Community Cemetery in Dallas, Manitoba.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Barry,Donald, and Robert, please accept my deepest sympathy. I can still remember the hunting days at the farm oh so long ago. Anne's homemade bread and "the worlds best cinnamon buns" were always the highlight for Stan and my self. Seeing Anne over the last few years and talking about the "old days" always brought back great memories. She will be missed. - Posted by: allan peterson (family friend) on: Dec 21, 2019

  • Please accept my deepest sympathy on Anne's passing. The hunting trip memories from the 50's spent at the farm are still as great as ever. Anne's homemade bread , the world's best cinnamon buns and generous spirit will never be forgotten. Anne will be missed by family and friends. Unfortunately I will not be able to make the service being in the U.S. for the winter. Anne's memory will be on my mind tomorrow and for a time to come. - Posted by: al peterson (friend) on: Dec 20, 2019
