NORMA HELEN JANDRASICS
(nee CROWE)
Norma leaves behind her husband of 52 years Frank; her daughters, Jean Vieira and Diane Kaser (Dale); grandsons, Tyler, Tevyn and Treyton; nieces, Carolyn Ibele (Anthony) and Mary Ellen Gooch (John); as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law Eli Vieira; two brothers, William Holesworth and Richard Goodier and nephew Richard Allen
Norma was born May 30, 1937 in Peterborough, Ontario and moved to Winnipeg in her early 20s where she spent a brief time in the Air Force. She then went on to Robertson College and became a medical transcription at Health Sciences Centre. In 1967, she met and married her beloved husband Frank. Norma loved to sing and became a member of the Atlantic Garden City United Church choir. At home, you would often see her reading one of her murder mysteries or romance novels, or knitting one of the many afghans and sweaters that she loved to work on.
Some of our favourite memories of her are the many nights spent playing cards together, going for walks, or hearing her sing and play the piano.
Words can never express the hole one feels at the loss of a loved one. Mom, you were our angel on Earth. We loved you unconditionally and you will be forever in our hearts
A private memorial was held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
