  • Neiler....we are with Dar and Mike and the cottage tonight reminiscing about you. Miss you my friend! - Posted by: Doug Warkentin (FRIEND) on: Nov 02, 2024

  • Neil was a customer of mine back in the early 2000s. He would come in and chat about the latest electronic gadget or tv (he was into recording shows and movies). Neil was one of the only people I have ever met that could watch 2 tvs at once. Very cool and eclectic guy. RIP Neil. - Posted by: Jason Borowiec (Friend / Salesperson) on: Oct 22, 2021

  • I couldn't have asked for a better cousin. Genuine and passionate about his friends and cousins. He was my cousin and friend. Thank you. - Posted by: Steve Rosen (Cousin) on: Nov 08, 2020

  • Hi Earl, I am saddened to learn that you have lost both Merv and Neil within such a short space of time. When I lived at 145 Scotia, your family store was directly across the street from my house. Both Merv and Neil would taunt Earl and Erla....we sure had fun times. A few weeks ago a Winnipeg friend drove by our old residences, and let me know that the inscription "Erla's Little Acre" that my Dad had carved in the cement at the foot of the driveway is still legible. I remember us gathered around watching my Dad do the inscription.....You thought it should say Earl and Erla. My sincere condolences to you and your family. • I met Neil at The U of M in about '84. I was working at the Frank Kennedy Centre and and playing football. Neil taught me how to play squash and racquetball. It took me quite a while before I managed to take a game. Neil was a big part of the circle of friends that we used to run with. Neil was the very loyal to Bisons sports, especially hockey. He was the head coach of the APBA 49ers and had quite the winning record. He is missed by all his friends. We are all saddened by his passing. Rest in peace Whiner. - Posted by: Pad Brookes (Friend ) on: Dec 26, 2019

  • I was saddened to learn about Neil’s sudden passing. He was always very kind to me and to Lindsey. When we last saw each other, he told me he wouldn’t live much longer.
