Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • Je suis attristée d'apprendre le décès de Roland, nous avons travaillé ensemble plusieurs années à l'École de la fonction publique. Roland était un enseignant très apprécié, et un collègue taquin. Tes bonnes blagues me manqueront. :) Repose en paix Roland! - Posted by: Emmanuelle Abelé (Collègue) on: Jan 06, 2020

  • I will miss my friend Roland walking by my shop in St Boniface, would come in to say hello even when he did not need haircut, God Bless him, my sincere condolences to the family. - Posted by: Ralph Masi. (Roland’s personal barber for 45 years) on: Jan 03, 2020

  • Red - you have a heart of gold. You touched so many people in your life. The best decision you made was marrying Bernie. Lucky guy! The next lucky place is... Heaven, which is our true home. No suffering. No pain. The best is yet to come. (Billy Graham) Love as always, Luba and Rome - Posted by: Rome Audet (One of the Best Friends) on: Dec 30, 2019

  • Dear Bernie and family, we are very saddened for your loss. We first met Red in our childhood when our parents were good friends. It was always so nice to reconnect when the opportunities presented themselves. He will truly be missed by his loved ones. - Posted by: Claudette Moquin & Harm Bouwman (friend) on: Dec 28, 2019

  • Enseignants tout les deux, fiers de notre culture, c'était toujours un plaisir le rencontrer! À toute la famille, Bon Courage! - Posted by: Ronald Valois (ami...) on: Dec 28, 2019

  • Red was a good friend during my high school years at St. Joseph’s Academy and he was attending St. Boniface Collage. We reconnected two or three years ago when we were both attending the same gym. As Yves said, it was like time stood still. We enjoyed sharing old memories and exchanged pictures. My condolences to Bernie and family. - Posted by: Pat Matte Lumley (Friend) on: Dec 24, 2019

  • Red was the best friend I ever had. We first became friends at Provencher School where we started in grade Four. It continued throughout our years together at Saint Boniface College, now "University of St. Boniface". We were inseparable at school and after school where we had common friends both male and female. In 1961 I left Manitoba to go to the Province of Quebec and we never saw or spoke to one another until 2010 when we reunited at our "Conventum de Rhetoric". We had not met for 50 years; it was however as if time had stood still and we felt completely at home with one another. We reminisced and discussed the old days as if it was yesterday. Rest in Peace, dear friend. Yves - Posted by: Yves Bruyere (Friend) on: Dec 24, 2019
