• I first met Donna at a Halloween Party we held here at the block, she was out having a cigarette, she told me she had quit, but her boyfriend had bought the smokes for her birthday. I will always remember Donna, she invited me to baseball games, little concerts, the casino, preview on movies, she helped me when I needed it, even when she needed a walker herself she continued to help me, she tried to teach me Latin Dancing moves, she sat on the board with the five of us, as secretary, took notes, got all our pictures done for the block, Donna and another tenant took courses for teaching older people exercises to keep healthy, She supported me through Breast Cancer, took me to the first Relay for Life for cancer recovery, I was sick recently and had to have surgery, although she was not in good health herself, she came to see me. • Donna had a marvelous ability to enjoy the little things in life. She always remained positive and up-beat regardless of what life had in store for her.
