BRUCE SMYTH
Survived by brothers, Dennis (Maureen) Smyth and Mike Smyth, sisters, Nancy McLellan and Sheila (Lenny) Shearman, nieces and nephews, Dennis Smyth, Darcy Force, Reagan Brown, Mike McLellan, Scott Shearman, Jenny Shearman, Holly Shearman and Thalia van Slois. Bruce was predeceased by his life partner Jim Deva.
Since the 1980s they co-owned Little Sister's Bookstore. They were pillars of Vancouver's gay community and rose to further prominence when they fought the federal government in court over censorship.
Farewell to our dear Bruce from his family and friends.
Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
