FIDELA VIDAL
April 24, 1937 – December 21, 2019

With heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Fidela Francisco Vidal, 82 years old, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on December 21, 2019.
Fidela was born in Asingan, Pangasinan, Philippines. She immigrated to England from the Philippines with her sister before moving to Winnipeg, Manitoba, in the early 1970's.
Fidela leaves behind two elder sisters, Eleuteria in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and Cirela in Asingan, Pangasinan, Philippines.
She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her beloved sister Eleuteria (aka: Terry, Etring); many family members; and dear, longtime friends in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the United States and the Philippines.
We would like to give special thanks to all the nurses and palliative staff at Health Sciences Centre for the care provided.

May she find eternal peace.

A celebration of her life (Lamay) will take place 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at St. Mary's Cathedral at 10:00 a.m., 353 St. Mary Avenue, with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens and reception to follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
