ANNETTE CHARLOTTE GODARD

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Annette Charlotte Godard announces her passing on December 22, 2019, at 4:20 p.m. She was born in Winnipeg, MB on June 16, 1966.
She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Barbara McCoy (Ray), her father Roger Godard (Lorette), her husband Jacques Allard, her son Jonathan Jansen (Alanna), her grandchildren, Kaiden, Healey and Xaiver Jansen, her sisters, Leah Strong and Sheri Decock (Michael), as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
After a long, well fought battle with lupus, we mourn the loss of an amazing woman whose heart and laughter filled all who knew her with a sense of love and joy. Her life was filled with ups and downs, but Annette always faced them head on, and gave those around her the courage to do the same. Her love of the outdoors started early in life with trips to the grandparent's cabin and carried on with her taking her grandchildren to her cabin. She had great passion for all animals, especially her horse "Rocky", he became her rock during her illness. She cared deeply for her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
A service for Annette will be held on January 3, 2020, at the St. Louis Centre, 445 Tissot St. at 12:00 p.m., interment to follow at St. Vital Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Lupus Canada or a charity of your choice.
