June 27, 1938 December 14, 2019
Shirley was predeceased by her husband Vernon Davis in 2016.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: David (Gina), Annette, Krystal (Rushford), BJ, Ashley, Jessica (Jeremy), Cassidy, Rayden, Amy, Paige, Emily and Kassandra; in addition to brothers and sisters Janet, Wallace, John; close sisters and brothers-in-law; and many more family and friends.
Shirley was born June 27, 1938, in Regina, Saskatchewan and married her husband Vernon on December 30, 1954. Shirley was extremely proud of their 61 years of marriage.
They both called Badger a weekend retreat and then a retirement home for many years.
Shirley took pride in her home, where love, understanding and guidance were key components to their growing family.
She was always ready to greet you with a warm welcoming smile and bestow such great hospitality to anyone who would come to visit.
A private family memorial service will be held. Details on a spring interment service will be announced once confirmed.

To a friend who always found the good in people and had intriguing conversations to say the least. The open door policy at the Davis’s was second to none. Ensuring you were watered and fed. There was always a great aroma of her cooking and bread making in which made one feel at home and very welcome. She definitely kept us in check with regards to our whereabouts during our outdoor adventures. If we didn’t check in on time. Well??? She let us know it. Her love of family and what nature had to offer was inspiring. Love you Shirley. Until we meet again. We will have a beer together. ❤️ - Posted by: Berniers (Family freind) on: Dec 31, 2019

Our deepest condolences to all of you. Shirley was a great character. My mom and dad (Norman & Doreen Bowering) always looked forward to her visits! She was so much fun! I am so glad we got to have a short visit at the reunion this summer. - Posted by: Sharon Martin (Cousin ) on: Dec 28, 2019
