EDNA MARION ERSKINE
November 29, 1928 - December 25, 2019
She was predeceased by her parents, Jane and Charles Cuthbert, sisters, Eleanor McIntyre (Harry) and Jean Wallace.
Edna is lovingly remembered by Tom, her husband of 67 years, her children, John (Edward), Connie (Kevin) and Norman (Pamela), grandchildren, Kyle (Kathleen), Katherine, Bradley and Robert, niece Jean McIntyre (David), and great-nieces, Jennifer and Sarah.
Edna grew up in St James, where she attended Gordon Bell High School and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Commerce degree. She worked at the Manitoba Power Commission as an internal auditor before leaving to raise her family.
Many special times were spent at the family cottage at Brereton Lake. She and Tom enjoyed world travels, square and round dancing, along with many other activities including winters spent motorhoming in the USA.
Edna was an active member of Westworth United Church and appreciated their support during her last few years.
Special thanks to the staff of Golden West Centennial Lodge for their care and support.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Westworth United Church in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Diabetes Canada (research) or a charity of your choice.
