GORDON REPESHKA
1954 - 2019

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our father, brother, uncle and friend on Friday, December 27, 2019, at the age of 65 years. Born in Winnipeg, he was the youngest and only son to Michael and Slawa Repeshka.
Gordon will be deeply missed by his wife Terry (Vouriot) of 44 years; their children, Lisa (Jason), Kelly, and Gary; and Ian who was like a second son to him. He will also be missed by his sisters, Elsie, Violet and Luba; his in-laws, Rose (Don), Gilles, Aline (Clovis) Marcel and Diane; and many nieces and
nephews and friends.
Dad was patient and loved to fix anything using what he had laying around. He enjoyed working at Vomar Industries, working on the yard, fishing, nature, watching movies and being with his family.
A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Howden Community Center, 1078 Red River Dr., Howden, Manitoba.
Special thanks to Kelly Andries and
Jennifer Salway at Vomar Industries, and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital Emergency.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
His memory will live on forever.

  • Our deepest condolences to Terry, Lisa, Kelly, Gary, Ian, Jason and family. We are incredibly saddened by Gordy's passing. Our friendship spanned over forty years. Gordy was an exceptional man with an extremely generous, kind and caring heart. He was humble, unassuming and an explementary neighbour. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him. He was a great man. We can never express our gratitude for all that Gordy had done for us throughout the years. He was so valued, trusted, appreciated and very much loved. We will miss Gordy immensely. He has left a hole in our lives. Gordy was family-----as are you, Terry. We wanted you to have no doubt that you and the children will always be part of our family. Love always, Shirley & Nicholas - Posted by: Shirley Vlassie (Friends/family) on: Jan 05, 2020
