Casey left his home municipality of Brokenhead and moved to Winnipeg where he worked as a service technician at Sears for over 20 years. It was there that he found his lifelong passion for music (specifically guitar) and through it he met his wonderful wife. His devotion to music continued to be expressed in his senior years where he played guitar for the Southglen Fiddlers. Casey was a loving husband and father whose affection planted itself deep in the hearts of his family. A kindhearted and gentle man, he liked everyone and everyone was fond of him. Fishing and the outdoors gave him much enjoyment. Later on he perfected his hand at cards and checkers, earning the family title of "The Champ". Casey's desire for adventure carried into his later years which included moving to Ontario where he could spend more time with his daughter Dyanne and her family. Although the time he had on this earth has passed, our memories of him will be forever cherished. The love we shared will be always in our hearts; for indeed, Love is Everlasting.
To honour Casey's wishes, his ashes will be lovingly spread in Ontario cottage country, a place that holds many fond family memories.
