GERARD DESJARDINS

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, January 10, 2020, at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street with Rev. Fr. Michael Wollbaum presiding. For those who wish, viewing was held at 10:00 a.m. Entombment followed at the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.

GERARD DESJARDINS

With deep sadness, we announce the death of Gerard Desjardins at his home on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at the age of 89 years.
Gerard is survived by his children, Annette (Terry), Angèle, Marcel (Darlene), Bernadette (Darrell), Fred (Caroline), Richard (Cindy); stepson Dominic; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and his wife Lise. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Helène; son-in-law Jim; his parents, Adèle and Arthur; and 16 siblings.
He was a proud member of Local 254 for 60 years. Gerard was a man of great faith and a devoted parishioner of St. Charles Catholic Church for the last 70 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 10, 2020 at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street with Rev. Fr. Michael Wollbaum presiding. For those who wish, viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow Mass at the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.
Pallbearers will be Kris Holmberg, Gerry and Joey Brown, Justin Breen, Chevy Rampersad and Ali Koroma.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted by the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
