I had the pleasure to get to know John when I was the rural reporter at the Free Press. He had many interests and was ever curious. I thoroughly enjoyed his self-published books about the Interlake. He really filled a void. He also gave me many topics to write about. My condolences to family members. - Posted by: Bill Redekop (friend) on: Mar 22, 2020

I just wanted to say how very sorry I was to hear of John's passing. I have only just started looking into my family connections, so it feels like I have only just met John, and now he is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Shelley L Miller (Granddaughter of Eric Bush) - Posted by: Shelley Louise Miller (Cousin 1x removed) on: Jan 07, 2020
