ALMA RENZ
August 9, 1929 - November 29, 2019

Our dear Alma Renz (nee Stroschein), loved by so many, is now walking over the rainbow.
She will be greatly missed. Mother to Nelson (Georgeann), Ronald (Roberta) and Deborah (George), grandmother to Ryan and Robert (Kassandra), sister to Elfrede and Hannelore, aunt to Wilfred, Heinjo, John, Loretta, Peggy and Jutta.
Walking with her on the sandy beaches and green meadows of paradise are Herbert, her husband of 65 years, her mother Rebekka, her sister Isolde, and many dear friends.
From Tarutino, Romania, near the Black Sea; to Germany; to Calgary, Alberta; Winnipeg, Manitoba; to British Columbia's lower mainland and to Courtenay on Vancouver Island, Alma has travelled far and created welcoming homes in many places.
We send her on her next journey with all the love and blessings of our hearts.
A small memorial service was held in Courtenay in December.
