1940 - 2020
Left to mourn are Mel's wife Nellie, of 57 years, daughter Andrea (Carson), three grandchildren, Sophie, Silas and Sawyer, his brother Leonard, and all remaining family.
He was predeceased by his brother Lawrence, and grandchild Pierce.
Mel and Nellie owned and operated two successful hair salons, Garden City Beauty Salon and Mels Hair Care Centre for 40 years.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11 at 10:00 a.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Cremation has already taken place.
