GARRY KOHUCH
"...Doesn't everything die at last,
and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
With your one wild and precious life?"
-Mary Oliver, from "The Summer Day"
lasting impact you made on so many people while you passionately lived your one
precious life. You touched so many hearts and minds. As Randy put it:
"This past Christmas, the men of Hoosli came to the house to carol for our Christmas dinner celebration. One of the men, who I did not know, came up to me and asked if I was
related to Garry. I said yes, that you were my brother. The gentleman said he remembered you well, that you were a wonderful teacher who had inspired him. I felt so proud at that moment and I knew that you were there with us at our family gathering, as you should be."
You never really left us. You immeasurably impacted our lives and we are forever
grateful for the gift we were given. But there really are no adequate words to express how much we miss the sound of your voice, the sight of you reading or taking photos or teaching someone to dance, your creativity, your ability to listen wholeheartedly and your kind, gentle heart. We think of you often
Garry, especially when we see a sunshower: happy, yet tears.

May Your Memory Be Eternal
