Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Sorry to hear of Tom's passing. When I first came to Bristol Aerospace to work in the Space business, Tom was a great mentor and influence on me. He was always professional and willing to help young engineer. We had a lot of memorable moments on rocket trips and I will remember those with fondness. Tom was great colleague and friend. - Posted by: Corey Mack (Colleague) on: Jan 31, 2020

  • Knew Tom and Irene thru family gatherings. Also, He worked at Bristol Aerospace the same time I worked there. Had a nice visit with him and Marlene last year. To his family, I am sorry for your loss. Charlotte Stairs - Posted by: Charlotte Stairs (John Stairs cousin) on: Jan 12, 2020

  • My heart felt condolences to Toms family. I had only met Irene and Tom a few years ago thru my mother-in-law and over the years I was lucky to be in their company a few times a year. Tom was a quick witted, knowledgeably, up to a challenge kind of man. The summer of 2019 was a difficult year for Tom with having lost Irene but it didn’t stop him from being there for others such as my mother-in-law Joan. With Toms health worsening he still helped others my self included with his years of experience. Tom was always up for a challenge and boy he would dig in for the long haul when he knew he was right and he usually was. Sad to see the old guy gone but one thing I learned was that you don’t need to know someone a lifetime to call him a friend. So long friend Tom will be missed Joe - Posted by: Joe Missalino (Friends ) on: Jan 11, 2020
