Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • My condolences to the entire Becker on the passing of Tante Elsie. I always enjoyed going to the farm as a child as the Beckers were the last family to still live on the farm. I found out that farmers sure work hard. We shared the same birthday and Tante Elsie always added to my Hardy boy book collection. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Larry Harder (nephew) on: Jan 17, 2020

  • Our deepest condolence to Karl, Susan, John and Robert on the death of Tante Elsie. We have good and many memories of her life. Keep her memory dear to your heart. - Posted by: Hank and Ruth Dyck (Niece) on: Jan 16, 2020

  • Aunt Elsie was a hard working woman, raising a big family. She always cooked great meals, with fresh vegetables out of her garden. She experienced many challenges, but stayed true to her faith. We know she is resting peacefully in the presence of her Savior and those that went before her. Thanks for the memories, we will miss her. - Posted by: Trudy and Diann (neices) on: Jan 16, 2020

  • I remember Mrs. Becker as the sweetest woman from my childhood during the '60s at Pigeon Lake church. My parents, Bill and Mary Schellenberg, were friends of Mr. & Mrs. Becker. I remember being amazed how she always managed to give me a moment of her attention and a kind smile while meeting the needs of her large family and fulfilling her many commitments to the church. Her generosity and kindness were models that I have remembered all my life. Warmest thoughts to you all as you honour her life. - Posted by: Marlene Schellenberg (Friend) on: Jan 15, 2020
