Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Jim and Jeff Mott were always appreciated in my JWG era, Jim was the serious one about everything, I remember times when the boys were playing music, Torston Wollerman, a joker in his way would hide the guitar and Jim would be solid it's time to play music, Torston would run out laughing, with Jim mad right behind. Jim was a deep soul if I needed to talk he was the one to go to. To his family and friends, our condolences are within us from day to day. So RIP my friend you will be dearly missed. - Posted by: Darlene Houssin ,(Lita wilton) (Friend ) on: Jan 27, 2020

  • I spent many a fun times with Jim and the boys, and the many lunch breaks spent in his childhood house or those other times when his parents weren't home..lol kids will be kids. I may have not been a part of Jims' life after high school, but he was there for me when my dad passed away 10 years ago. Jim shared his story while we sat in my childhood house talking about our life experiences. I will be ever so grateful for that time we shared. My guess is Jim was the great guy I knew from junior high until the moment he departed from this life. May peace be with his family and may Jim feel the love we all have for him, he has made a difference. - Posted by: Sharon Vickner (friend) on: Jan 23, 2020

  • We are all so sorry and shocked to hear of Jim's sudden passing. We were Jim's neighbors and we along with his family grew up together. We grew apart as everybody followed their own paths. • My condolences to the Mott Family. Jim and I were close friends in our 20's. He was really fun to be around and had some really incredible gifts. He was a really good machinist, great mechanic, was a good bass player and enjoyed his time with friends. I haven't been close with Jim in a long time but will always remember his laugh, the way his eyes would bug out of his head when you said something ridiculous. He was great for the deep conversations as well. Versitile in all aspects. I am sad to hear of his passing, he had his struggles but I'll remember him for who he was to me.... A friend. See you in awhile Jim. - Posted by: Donovan Harris (Friend) on: Jan 18, 2020
