CLIFFORD WESLEY LOCKHART
Clifford Wesley Lockhart passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the age of 92, with his wife Lillian by his side.
Cliff will be lovingly remembered by Lillian; his three children, Barbara (Barry), Beverley and Scott (Debbie); his six grandchildren, Lindsey (Dennis), Tiffany, Dustin, Dana, Connor and Mitchell and three great-grandchildren, Madden, Cole and Norah.
Cliff was born in Glenboro, Manitoba where he lived on the family farm until he was hired by Manitoba Hydro. After marrying Lillian, they lived in Brandon, Boissevain, Minto and Melita before settling in Winnipeg.
Cliff was extremely proud of his 40 year career with Manitoba Hydro, retiring as a district manager in 1989. He was an active member in his community, where he volunteered countless hours with the Crestview United Church and the local community club. Cliff was an avid gardener and his yard reflected that. He also enjoyed hockey, especially his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.
Always a gentleman, Cliff was warm and trusting. His family was his greatest joy.
Thank you to the staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their wonderful care.
In accordance with Cliff's wishes, cremation has taken place and his remains will rest in the family niche at Chapel Lawn. Family and friends will be invited to a Celebration of Life in the spring.

I first met Cliff when I interviewed for a position at Manitoba Hydro and was subsequently hired. He demonstrated the care and consideration that we all hope for in a manager. I have always remembered him for his warmth and concern. My most sincere condolence to you, Lil, and your family. - Posted by: Val Bishop (co-worker) on: Jan 19, 2020
Lillian, sorry to hear of the passing of Manitoba Power Commission (Manitoba Hydro) working partner. Farm Electrification, brought many of us into a long lasting career and friendship. Cliff was District Manager in St.James as I was in River East resulting in many pleasant associations. Cliff was always a trusted, respected individual in all years of our common life association. May the supreme beyond this life venture find Cliff in a realm of eternal happiness and may you find comfort with this knowledge! Cam - Posted by: Cam Neirinck (Working associate) on: Jan 18, 2020
