MARION YVONNE LAYE
(nee HARDWICK)

Peacefully, with her family and friends by her side, on Friday, January 17, 2020, at the Selkirk Regional Health Center, Marion Laye, aged 70 years, of Selkirk, Manitoba, passed away.
Marion was born May 29, 1949, in Selkirk, Manitoba to Mulvina (Dolly) and Walter (Bud) Hardwick. She was the eldest of her siblings who she has always remained close with. She would always let you know that she was thinking about you no matter where you were and her strength was unrelenting. She has left a whirlwind of memories for everyone whose life she touched, and she will be forever missed by her numerous family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Ingrid Zarichney (Dan), Dena Greenwood (Dale), Darlene Grieve (Ian) and her brother Robert (Bob) Hardwick (Wanda).
Marion is predeceased by her beloved
husband Eugene John (Stoogie) Laye, her
father Walter Albert Hardwick and her sister Katherine Hope (Kay) Onofreychuk.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, Manitoba at 1:00 p.m.
