EDOUARD JOSEPH JOLICOEUR
August 27, 1921 - January 21, 2020

With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Edouard on January 21, 2020, at the Villa Youville in Ste-Anne, MB, at the age of 98 years.
Edouard was predeceased by his parents, Eugène and Rose Délima (née Kirouac); his four brothers, Narcisse (Roberta), Alphonse (Alida), Antoine and Léon; and one sister Rose Délima (Alain Lafrenière).
Edouard leaves to cherish his memory five sisters, Antoinette (the late Raymond Desautels), Rose-Anna (the late Elphège Normandeau), Adrienne (the late Romano Cadez), Aline (the late Louis Simard), Cécile (the late Robert Danylchuk); one sister-in-law Lorraine Jolicoeur; as well as many relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his close nieces and nephews, Renell (Colleen), Jolyne (Michael), Karyne (Denis) and Mikaël (Amanda).
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., preceded by a viewing at 9:30 a.m., at the Ste- Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste-Anne, MB with Father Louis Légaré, celebrant. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
The family is grateful for the kind and compassionate care Edouard received from the nurses and staff at the Villa Youville, with a special thank you to Sr. Irène Rioux for the care and support she lovingly gave to oncle Edouard and our family over past few years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

The funeral will be at the Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church.

  • I will always remember Uncle Ed as a kind and friendly man. As a kid, when we visited, he always took the time to talk to me, to try to find out what I was all about. He was always ready with a smile, and perhaps a piece of candy. Uncle Ed lived a good, long life and will be missed by those who took such good care of him in his later years.
