Condolences & Memories (10 entries)
Our hearts go out with deepest Sympathy to children Stacey and Paul & family, Jamie and Debbie & family, and Michael and family, and to the siblings, Linda and Johnny & family, Robert and Alice & family and Karen and family. We were so shocked when we heard the news of this tragic accident. We saw cousin Sandra often in our childhood and sometimes even had a sleepover. Always glad to get news of Sandra, in Vancouver, from our moms. We were delighted to see Sandra at a couple of cousins reunions/dinners in Wpg. at cousin Brenda's. Sandra has gone ahead now to be with her mom and dad. "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted" Peace Perfect Peace. Love and hugs to all, cousins, Beryl and Dolores - Posted by: Beryl Horning (Cousin) on: Jan 28, 2020
Michael, Stacey, Jamie and families - I am so so sorry for the loss of your dear partner and mother. Sandy and I worked together at Betel home in Selkirk. We spent a lot of time together outside of our work and had many good times in Selkirk, Winnipeg Beach and at all her apartments in Winnipeg! I have never in my life met someone who had the biggest and kindest heart and she took a piece of my heart with her❤️ Rest In Peace Sandy - Posted by: Peggy Jenkyns (Friend and past coworker) on: Jan 27, 2020
Dear Michael, Stacey, Jamie and families. My deepest condolences on the tragic loss of a wonderful, sweet, loving person. I worked with Sandy when I started my nursing career on RR6. She was always great fun and I loved her dearly. We hadn’t spoken for a few years and just around Christmas. I joined Facebook and reconnected with her. I am so happy I got that opportunity. She loved her family so deeply, she sent me several pictures of her beautiful grandchildren. The loss is unimaginable. She truly was a beautiful person inside and out. - Posted by: Cindy Wong (Friend ) on: Jan 26, 2020
Ah Sandy. Can't believe you're gone. That wicked sense of humor. That compassion for people. The way you loved your family. The ever present smile and the twinkle in your eye. You just loved life, and the people in your life. I'm so glad I knew you. I will miss you. My sympathies to her family as they go through this difficult time. - Posted by: Kathy Ward (Friend) on: Jan 25, 2020
I was very saddened & in disbelief when I read of Sandra's passing in the newspaper. We went to High School together in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Mb. in the 60s and remember her well as a petite, very shy & sweet girl. My sincere condolences to her family & friends near and far...another angel taken way too soon. My heart goes to all who knew & loved her.... - Posted by: Mona Sala Desjarlais (High school friend) on: Jan 25, 2020
