Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • We remember Maria as a woman with natural kindness, generosity and joy that came from her heart. Her sense of humour was amazing, even in a room full of people. She knew my husband loved her strudel and always sent him a tray full when she came to Calgary. Each time he would propose marriage to her which always made her laugh😍 - Posted by: Chris and Helen (Friends) on: Jan 25, 2020

  • Marija lived at carriage house north as a resident. This where I met her. We had some conversations about her family which she loved and spoke highly of.the birthday parties her family invited the residents here and very enjoyable to her and all of us. She had a great sense of humour, Marija fought the good fight and enjoyed her life as best she could, She never never gave up We will miss her very much. I offer my deepest sympathies to to her family. Rest In Peace my dear friend , - Posted by: Lorraine Sabansky (Friend ) on: Jan 24, 2020

  • Our hearts are joined with yours as you honour your Moms life and all she meant to you. She was a brave and courageous woman who met life head on and I know she always wanted to look her best too. I remember once being at Barb and Dragos home for a celebration and she came in from Winnipeg and asked her daughter to fix her hair right away. Hang on to all your memories, much love, Your friends, Dan and Diane from Calgary - Posted by: Diane and Dan Peacock (Friend Of Barb and Drago) on: Jan 24, 2020
