It is with heartfelt sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our loving mom, nanny / grandma and great-nanny / grandma.
Victoria Scales passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday, January 17, 2020, with her daughter by her side.
Vicky was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Len; her parents; sister Florence, and infant sister.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Larry (Lynn), Terry (Judy), and Debbie (Kyle); grandchildren, Ashley (Ryden), Kyle (Janessa), Crystal (Cory), Vanessa (Mark) and Brandi; great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Chloe, Jayden, Milo and Sadaya; Vicky's brother John (Hazel); and extended family.
Mom was a very caring, loving and thoughtful person who always put the needs of others first. She was an avid knitter and a fantastic cook, who took great joy in sharing her creations. She was very proud of her family and everything they accomplished, showing keen interest in everything they did.
Mom and Dad loved their time at the cottage at Lake Manitoba Estates, travelling, and attending family events. Vicky made friends wherever she went and put a smile on people's faces. She attended YMCA adult day group where she enjoyed the many outings with the ladies.
Now that Mom is reunited with Dad, may they both be happy together again.
In accordance with Vicky's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family interment has taken place at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
Thanks to the staff of A5 Cardiology and Palliative Care of St. Boniface Hospital for the compassion, kindness and loving care they provided mom.

Love You !
