Larry’s family were our close neighbours until they moved several blocks away but still in Elmwood. Larry continued to be friends with my brother Cal....through school, university and continued on as they raised families. Larry was a friendly and kind person, I always enjoyed his sense of humour. He will be missed. - Posted by: Lorraine Lorenz (friend) on: Feb 06, 2020

To Debbie and her family I would like to extend my sincere condolences on the recent passing of Larry. Our relationship goes back to our early years growing up in the East Kildonan area of Winnipeg to having crossed path during our working years. Unfortunately once you get married and start to have families your lives change however your remembrance of good people never change and that is the category where I would place Larry. May his memories live with Debbie and the family forever. - Posted by: Terry Kirkham (Friend) on: Feb 03, 2020

We were lucky enough to see Larry in November while in Calgary for a wedding. Larry, Deb & Michael came to the hotel for a visit. Larry remembered many Winnipegers also at the wedding and everyone shared many great memories. Larry was very excited and it was a great time for all of us. Deb, Michael & Maren have been very strong through the last year along with some McLennan relatives stopping in to see him as well. Thoughts & prayers always.
