IRENE REID
October 27, 1929 - January 23, 2020
She leaves her loving husband of 67 years, Delmar Reid, daughter Colleen Robertson (Peter), son Jeff Reid (Natasha), grandchildren, Brendan Boyd (Morena), Corrina Boyd, Justin and Jeffrey Ramos, Alicia Nastiuk and Torrie Ledwich, as well as brother Stan Slym (Elaine), brother and sister-in-law Pat and Lois Reid, and many caring cousins.
Irene was described by a cousin as a ball of fire. She took every opportunity to enjoy family, entertaining and her great love of music.
Del and her loved to travel, they took numerous vacations together and enjoyed their retirement winters in Arizona. Summertime was spent at their cottage at Falcon Lake enjoying time with family and friends.
Irene had a generous nature and loved hosting a huge family Christmas party every year. Irene was also very strong and faced adversity over the years surviving breast cancer and lastly encountering dementia.
We wish to thank the extraordinary team at Deer Lodge T7 for their wonderful, loving care.
Irene, Mom you will be dearly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Deer Lodge Hospital or Firefighters Burn Fund.
