TANNIS JACQUELINE GRUGEL
(nee ABRAHAM)

Tannis Grugel of Cleveland, Ohio, much beloved sister of Leslie Carignan, passed on February 4, 2020, after a fierce battle with cancer.
Heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at the Hospice of the Western Reserve who took exemplary care of us!
Predeceased by her husband Ralph Grugel, she leaves to mourn, her loving sister Leslie Carignan, nieces, Lisa Mesman Hill (Steven) and Monique Allan (Thomas), nephew David Mesman (Vanessa) and long time dear friends, Marianne Fiala and Joann Jones.
Tannis was born on January 23, 1944 to Alma and Jack Abraham in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
After completing her nurses training at St. Boniface Hospital, she moved to Cleveland, where she worked at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. After travelling and working in Australia for two years, she returned to Cleveland and worked at the University Hospitals until retirement at age 70 years. She enjoyed her retirement years thoroughly.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve or to Cancer Research, should friends desire.
