Tracy will sadly be missed by her father Wilfred Slobik (Mabel), sister Breanna, her mother Lucille Morash (Tom), Paul and Adam. She will also be missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A special thank you to her friends, Dayna and Doug who were by her side during good times and bad times.
Tracy loved to be active in sports, with a special place in her heart for running, cycling, baseball and curling.
Her career in hairdressing started at Studio 2000, followed by Edward Carriere, Sets, back to Studio 2000 and her final journey at Aura. Her giggles brought smiles to our faces, her sadness brought tears to our eyes.
Words cannot express our sadness in our hearts, she will never be forgotten.
A private service will be held at a later date.

Condolences & Memories (20 entries)

  • From my first day working at Aura Tracy was so kind and welcoming to me, she was very calm and was always so very patient. I always had a good day at work when Tracy was there. We were always making jokes and sharing stories with each other. I’m still in shock and filled with sadness. Tracy you will forever be in my ❤️ I send my deepest condolences to Tracy’s family and friends! - Posted by: Tabitha (coworker) on: Mar 02, 2020

  • I was absolutely enamored with Tracy - being a few grades younger than her at River East... she was so pretty, charismatic- and always kind. I used to try to do my hair and makeup JUST like her - she was THAT cool! She was a role model to me and many younger girls as an amazing athlete... and a kind beautiful person. My sincere condolences to the family and her dear friends - she was a special lady! - Posted by: Janelle B (Classmate) on: Feb 25, 2020

  • I am so shocked and sad to hear of Tracy’s passing. She was my hairdresser for the last 12 years. I looked forward to seeing her and talking with her. She was more like an old friend than my hairdresser. Tracy was such a warm, beautiful person. I will miss her smile and her beauty, both inside and out. My heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and all that were fortunate enough to know this beautiful woman - Posted by: Tanya Montebruno (Client/friend) on: Feb 16, 2020

  • I am so very sorry to hear about Tracy’s passing . I used to love seeing her and chatting about life while getting my hair done . She was such a kind and beautiful person. We both used to have Rottweilers and would always exchange stories about our dogs. I will always remember you Tracy! - Posted by: Charlane Kitching (Former client ) on: Feb 14, 2020

  • It is with shock and sadness that we learned of the passing of Tracy. Our family has been clients of Tracy for 22 years. Our now adult children had their first haircuts with Tracy when they were two and five years old. Michelle and I and the boys continued to see her until last month. Our sons always looked forward to seeing Tracy (as well as Doug) at Studio 2000 as she always took a keen interest in their lives. The boys loved sharing stories about school, sports, dogs, and the Winnipeg Jets with her. We also liked hearing about Tracy's life including her dogs, baseball games, camping, her new house and her trips to see family in the States. She often talked fondly of her mom, her dad, and she was so proud of her sister. We are struggling with the realization that we won't see her again and we can't imagine the pain her family and friends are feeling. Our hearts go out to you. We knew after the accident that her life had changed significantly and like many, we continued to support her in her transition to her new location at Aura. Tracy was more like a close friend than our hair stylist and we were very lucky to have known her. We would like to express our condolences to the entire family. • I cannot express in words the sadness I feel. I met Tracy several times, she was beautiful, smart with a great sense of humour. My condolences to Wilf and family. - Posted by: Bruno Bevacqua (Family friend and co worker with Wilf ) on: Feb 12, 2020

  • With extreme sadness and tears I want to express my deepest condolences to Tracy’s family. This is just too difficult to believe. Tracy has been my hairdresser for over 30 years. Within those years, she became a beautiful friend that I cherished. She was genuine, kind, humorous and so talented and athletic. She always inquired about my son’s endeavours. We had so many memorable conversations about family, creative interests, travel, and life in general. I admired her strength as she healed from her accident and looked forward to new endeavours. I gave her a wheelbarrow full of lily of the valley pulled from my garden this last fall. She planted it around her yard and we were going to meet in the spring to see if it took. This gentle delicate plant will forever remind me of her. I loved her spirit so much. I will miss her so much. 🌱Rest In Peace lovely One 🌱 - Posted by: Karen Luchak (Friend and Client) on: Feb 11, 2020

  • I first met Tracy nearly 20 years ago at Studio 2000. I instantly loved her as my hairdresser, (my mother and sister soon followed suit) which quickly grew to a trusted friendship and extended family! Without a doubt, Tracy was truly beautiful from the inside and out. She was vibrant, caring and kind. Tracy loved and was loved!! She touched our lives in ways no other could. We are extremely grateful and fortunate to have had Tracy in our lives. There is no "good bye" Tracy, only to pain and suffering. I continue to feel your presence and see your "knowing" smile. LOVE YOU....To your family , I offer my deepest and sincere sympathy. Robin Polley - Posted by: Robin Polley (Friend) on: Feb 09, 2020

  • Tracy was such a sweet, thoughtful & funny person. It is still so strange not seeing her come into work everyday. She will be missed but never forgotten ❤️ - Posted by: Melissa Fifi (Coworker at Aura Hair Salon) on: Feb 09, 2020

  • Tracy was my hairdresser, my friend, for the past 13 years. I trusted her completely with my 'hair needs'. I not only looked forward to receiving her professional hair services, but also looked forward to spending time and chatting with her. While recovering from major surgery several years ago, she came to my home to give me a much needed hair cut! Her act of kindness is something I will never forget. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing. My heart aches. Blessings to her family and friends who are also grieving. - Posted by: Hildy Doerksen (Client/Friend) on: Feb 08, 2020

  • I knew Tracy when she was born. I saw her periodically during her lifetime. The last time was in Gilbert Plains where she was a bridesmaid for her close friend. She was such a pretty young lady and I remember her smiles and laughter. Our condolences go out to Dad Wilf and Mom Lucy who were also such close friends at one time. We will keep you and your families in our prayers for comfort and peace. With Love, Bill & Ann - Posted by: Bill & Ann Peckham (Friend of the family) on: Feb 08, 2020
