  • What can we say to make this sadness bearable at this time to Margaret and all her family??? It is with deep sadness that we will miss him but will never forget him. I can only share with you Margaret, what you and Walter shared with me, over the past while, is that there is a journey to continue and we will all meet again with no pains or discomfort and your faith is so strong I believe it is true. I wanted to have family gatherings as I was not sure what the future holds and I am glad we had that chance for all of us to get together at Belair and see him laugh and SMILE as we spoke of our children and grandchildren and of course the BLUE BOMBERS. Walter was like a brother to me from the first time he came from Gilbert Plains and stayed with us until he met his soul mate Margaret. I will remember him always. • I have great sadness in my heart today, hearing of Walter's sudden passing. My thoughts are with Margaret, Cindy, Rick, Cathy and Fred, and the rest of the Bewsky's extended family. I sit here, fondly recalling the gentle soul that Walter was. Everyone who entered their home was always made to feel welcome, and "part of the family". He was a wonderful man, truly one of a kind. I am sorry that I was not aware of his passing- and sorry to have missed saying one last goodbye to him today at the funeral. May God ease the sadness in your hearts. - Posted by: Brenda Prins ((an old family friend)) on: Feb 15, 2020

  • Loretta and I are saddened to hear of Walter's passing. He was one of the true gentlemen! We worked together from 1966 until his retirement and I had the pleasure of having some of the best times ever when work stopped as well. I know there is a group of guys from Wilson's that will never forget the annual trips to golf at Hecla Island and there may have been a little partying as well. Walter taped and made copies for the crew which although 8 track is hard to find now days. I still pull them out once in a while to reflect on the good times.
