LENA (HELEN) VERA LOEWEN

Lena, also known as Helen, passed away at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home on February 7, 2020, at the age of 81, with her faithful husband John at her side.
She has left many precious memories to her loving husband John, and children, Marilyn and Bill, Esther and Tony, Arnold and Wanda, Weldon and Ev, Larry and Colleen, Val and Darren and Roxane and Todd, as well as 32 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is survived by brother Jake and his wife Betty, and sister Anna Eaton.
The celebration of Lena's life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. A viewing service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
As a family we give our deepest appreciation to the staff of Donwood Manor for the joy, love and compassionate care they gave to our mother.
