MARGARET JEAN HEMMING
(nee MARCINKOW)
December 30, 1934 - February 7, 2020
She will be cherished always by family and friends including Frank, her husband of 62 years; and children, Gordon (Laurie), Richard (Cathy) and Arla.
Marge was born and spent her early years in Mikado, Saskatchewan, and then moved to Winnipeg in her teens. It was here that she lived her adult life, the majority as a proud resident of Windsor Park. She was a vivacious member of Windsor Park United Church for over 50 years and, later, the High Steppers Seniors Club. Amoung her many interests, she was a champion bowler, an avid whist player and a fixture at Southdale bingo. Devoted wife and mother, skilled homemaker and tireless volunteer in the community, she will be dearly missed.
A memorial service to celebrate Marge's life will be announced later.

Marg was a welcoming neighbour many years ago when my husband and two sons moved on to Canberra Rd in Windsor Park. She provided me much support over the years , always with a cup of coffee and a treat. In later years ,after I moved from Canberra, she never failed to gift me with a practical item she had made herself .I have an apron and matching potholders!!! The Hemming boys included my two sons in the neighbourhood "antics" that young boys were prone to be up to in those long ago days. My sincere sympathy to Frank ,Gordon ,Richard ,and Arla. - Posted by: Elsie [Maggie] Barnett (friend and previous neighbour) on: Feb 19, 2020

Sorry to hear of your loss Frank, and family. Marge was a strong member of our neighborhood, while I was growing up, and of course, I in my teens babysat all three of Your children. A great lady, and You all have my condolences. Take care during this stressful time. - Posted by: Bonnie Flockton (nee Head) (former neighbor and family friend) on: Feb 15, 2020
