RONALD GORDON NICKEL
He is survived by wife Lynn (nee Sinclair); and son Craig (Jennifer). He was predeceased by parents, Gus and Anne Nickel; and brother-in-law Gordon Boak. He is survived by brother Lloyd (Lucy); sister Evelyn; and many nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was born in Winnipeg on December 3, 1940 and grew up in Norwood and St. Vital where he graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate. He worked for MTS for ten years. Ron met the love of his life, Lynn, married and moved to Alberta where his son, Craig, was born. Ron enjoyed golfing and spending his winters in Benson, Arizona. One of my very special memories is the month we spent in southern France and Paris.

I was stunned to hear of Ron's passing, but I now think of Ron and John drinking their rum and cokes, yakking it up, just like they did while they watched Lynn dig the horseshoe pit at the trailer at West Hawk Lake many many, many years ago. Lots of good memories. My thoughts are you at this time. - Posted by: Darlene Orieux (Friend) on: Feb 18, 2020
