Glen leaves to mourn his daughter, Jo-Anne (Ray); grandson, Michael (Sherry); granddaughter, Sherri (Jason); great-granddaughters, Brooke and Taniesha (Kris); sisters, Cynthia and Karen; and brother Kenny.
He was predeceased by his wife, Helen (2012); mother, Ellen; stepfather, Perry; sisters, Janice and Joyce; and brother, Robert.
Glen was born in Alabama. He joined the military, serving four years from 1962 to 1966. Upon release he dated and married the love of his life, Helen, in Winnipeg. He was employed at CN Railway for 33 years, until his retirement in 1999.
Glen will be remembered by all as a very special person, who was caring, kind, and thoughtful; and was so loved by his family.
A celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Glen was a true example of a classy gentleman!! I met him 30 years ago through a mutual friend. We loved our breakfasts at Perkins on Lagimodiere!! My summation of Glen was caring, kind and honorable!! He loved his family!! Favourite sports team was his Pittsburgh Steelers 🏈🏈🏈. Rest In Peace my friend!! You and Helen are Reunited!!
