MARGARET GOODMAN (RUSK)

She was predeceased by her son Eric, and is survived by her beloved husband Marvin (Moe), son Dan (Marie) and daughter Elaine (John). She has five grandchildren, Shyla, Shawn, Kerstin, Eric, Joshua; and five great- grandsons, Jordan, Jared, Austin, Davin and Logan. She is also survived by sisters, Evelyn, Pearl, and Doris (Mick), along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by siblings, Norman, Donald, John, William, Rhoda and Patricia.
Margaret met the love of her life Marvin Goodman and was married on May 22, 1954 and had 65 wonderful years together. They built their home and raised their three children in St. Vital. Over the years she worked in banking and retired from the Credit Union at Canada Packers. She loved cooking and entertaining. Close friends and family looked forward to her annual Christmas parties. Margaret and Moe shared the passion of travel throughout the years and travelled to many places. One place they fell in love with was Buescher Campground in Texas where they were hosts. They also made many camping road trips with their three children which included several to the Goodman family reunion at Mantrap, Minnesota.
Margaret was a social butterfly. She loved music, dancing and in her later years went to Action Marguerite which she called her "Granny Daycare".
Margaret will always be in our hearts and be missed by many.
A celebration of Margaret's life will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at the United Church in Meadowood, 1111 Dakota Street, Winnipeg. Interment at Piney, MB, to take place at a later date.
