DONALD FRANK KRUSE

On Wednesday, February 12, 2020, with his wife by his side, Don passed away after a lengthy, but well-fought battle, with diabetes.
Born on February 3, 1947, to Stan and Leona Kruse, Don is survived by his wife Diane Caley; daughters, Dana Todd (Bart), Deanne Morgan (Brent) and Darci Karaibrahimovic (Meho); his Dad (Stan); brothers, Stan (Verna) and Dave (Lorraine), his treasured grandchildren, Spencer, Kade and Haci; sister-in-law Pat (Larry) Caley; nieces, Sue (Jo), Jacquie (Symon) in Wales, U.K. He was predeceased by his Mom Leona Kruse.
Don's spirit has left us on earth, but we know that he will continue to guide us and give us strength from above. Our hearts are broken but bound with the special memories we shared with him. Don's positive outlook on life, and personal strength is like no one else, and will continue to live on through his children and grandchildren.
A very special thank you to the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the Health Sciences Centre. Your care and compassion for my husband and our Dad went above and beyond and we are forever thankful for you.
A celebration of Don's life will take place on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael and All Angels' Anglican Church, 300 Hugo Street North.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed at the Kidney Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice.
