MICHAEL HENRY KONDRACKI
Michael was born in Winnipeg on December 18, 1954, to predeceased parents, Joseph and Ann. He retired from Via Rail after 37 years as the building maintenance foreman of Union Station and three years at CN Rail. He never missed a Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Jets or IIHF World Juniors game. In retirement, he loved gardening. When he wasn't gardening, you could always find him cleaning or fixing his baby in his garage, a Chevy Malibu.
He is survived by Terri (Ethier); Matthew; Vanessa; brothers, Steven, Peter and John with wife Sophie; niece Nancy; great-niece Madison; nephew Kenny; niece and nephew Jessica and Jordan; and Alice.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St.
Thank you to all the staff at CancerCare Manitoba for their hard work.
Flowers are welcome, but a donation to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation is greatly preferred.
