RAYMOND BRUCE BROWN
He was born and raised in Winnipeg, the youngest of five children of the late Frederick and Sarah Ellen Brown. His brothers, Frederick and Charles and sisters, Cecilia and Marjorie predeceased him.
A kind, courteous, self-reliant and contented man, Raymond remained a bachelor. He served in the Navy in 1944 - 1945 on H.M.C.S. Discovery, Cornwallis, Halifax and Wallaceburg, doing his duty on the North Atlantic convoys, until the end of the Second World War. Subsequently living in Vancouver, he became an expert technician and avid golfer. His great joy was building, and flying, a Pitts Special aerobatic plane.
Ray Brown will be missed by all who knew him.
