• Le décès d’une personne d’exception laisse un vide effroyable mais aussi un héritage moral considérable. Nous sommes tous porteurs de cette flamme qu’elle a allumé dans nos coeurs… Jamais nous ne l’oublierons et elle vivra en nous pour toujours.Nous tenons à vous adresser toutes nos condoléances et vous témoigner notre soutien. Nous prions pour votre mère et épouse en lui apportons tout notre amour et nos pensées afin que son âme puisse reposer en paix. On garde toujours une place spéciale dans le coeur pour sa maman, même après sa disparition. Je suis désolé d’apprendre cette terrible perte. • I had the privilege to know Jeanne and her husband Louis, while owning and operating Cindy's Restaurant in LaBroquerie. Jeanne was a beautiful soul, full of so much talent, and a welcoming spirit. She and Louis traveled to Victoria BC, a few years ago, and had lunch with my husband and myself. We were/are both saddened to hear of this news, and we send love and prayers to the family. • I was fortunate to have had Mme. Jeanne Balcaen (né Lavack) as my favorite elementary school teacher. I remember her as a friendly and a happy teacher... Her husband (Louis) was my favorite hockey goaltender who played his best hockey with the La Broquerie Habs! They were a beautiful couple!
