EILEEN RUBY STEEP
Eileen will be forever remembered by her daughter Linda Humeniski of Georgetown, son James (Janet) of Winnipeg, grand-children, Trisha, Kevin (Jessica), Jessica Eileen, Andrew (Jaclyn), Cassandra, and great-granddaughters, Lily and Carolina.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, John Andrew, and brothers, Wally, Mort, Ken, Reg and Don.
Eileen loved her family immensely and thrived on the love she received back. Eileen was an excellent athlete and avid sports fan who was well known for her volunteer contributions to Guelph Minor Softball - including coaching and as convener and president. She also gave of her time to Home League, 55 + Over Club, Christmas hampers and assorted other endeavours at the Salvation Army. She made many friends over the years while working at Textile Industries.
A funeral service in memory of Eileen was held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation for one hour prior, followed by interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
Eileen requested memorial contributions may be made to Agape Table of Winnipeg or Salvation Army Guelph Citadel.
Many thanks to Eileen's caregivers at Riverside Glen and the Super Team of Diane, Aila, Stephanie and Mildred.
