DOROTHY VIOLET LEONHARDT

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Donna (Michael), and grandchildren, Kristin and Brayden.
Dorothy was predeceased by her late husband Harold, parents, Jacob and Mary, and siblings, Effie, Rudolph and Wilbert.
Dorothy was born in New Finland, Saskatchewan on June 28, 1931. Mom worked many office jobs as a typist/stenographer, working at Rowntree Mackintosh (which became Nestlé) until her retirement.
Mom was an avid reader, crossword and jumble solver, crib player and liked going to movies. Mom was a fabulous cook and baker who always made everyone's favourite dishes. Sunday suppers were a must at home. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre - 3E Palliative Care for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba on her behalf.
According to Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service has been held.
