TYLER ROLAND CHARTRAND
He has left to mourn his three beautiful boys, Riley, Raine and Robin, and his wife Samantha; as well as his loving mom Lorraine and husband Doug, brothers, Leon and Jenny (Keon, Carter, Emily and Caleb), Adam and Bonnie (Max and Miley), Mike and Matt and Keely, along with his grandma Winnie, as well as many other family members and close friends. Tyler was predeceased by his dad, Brian in 1991.
He loved his three sons above all else. He was a huge Red Sox fan and loved the Vikings. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humour, his ability to make others laugh, his crazy tattoos and his love of family.
He was a valued employee at Manitoba Hydro for over 12 years. He will be missed every day and in every way.
A celebration of Ty's life will be held at the St. Laurent Rec Centre on Wednesday, March 4 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor James McGillan officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the trust fund that has been set up to support the boys. To make a donation, contact Tom Johnson at 204-837-1960 or Thomas.Johnson@f55f.com

Lorraine, condolences to you and your family. I remember Tyler as a good student but, I will remember him best as a dedicated athlete who always gave a 100% effort. I have many fond memories of coaching St. Laurent Soccer Teams and, one in particular is a team picture that we took after winning an Interlake Co-Ed Soccer Championship. There was Tyler, front and centre. Please extend my sympathies to your family. - Posted by: Ian Petrie (Teacher, coach) on: Mar 31, 2020

I don’t know how to express my sorrow for the Chartrand family, other than to describe Tyler as one of the most genuine and true characters that I have ever been blessed to call a friend. Anyone who has had the privilege to call him a friend is better for it and should emulate his spirit. Our deepest sympathy. - Posted by: Tyler Burgoyne and Family (Friend ) on: Mar 04, 2020

As a co-worker, we are all of one family. I met Tyler on a number of occasions and we enjoyed a camaraderie of like minded individuals. We discussed our lives, our loves and our tattoo art.
